Paige Jakobczak

Assistant Program Director


Paige Jakobczak is a student of Political Science and Gender and Women`s studies at York University. She is a driven young woman who intends to apply her passion for political and feminist theory to affect meaningful change and to promote equality, cooperation and freedom. She is an active member in her school community. Paige has volunteered for 2 years as a McLaughlin college peer mentor. She has been involved with local politics, including an appearance on Rogers TV as a political commentator. Next year she plans to pursue a Masters degree in Gender, Feminist and Women`s studies, specializing in feminist political economy. Paige started as a summer student at Couchiching Jubilee House. She is currently assisting with development, program and volunteer coordination. Her hobbies and interests include, art, astrophysics, politics and  philosophy.
